There are also larger events that continually draw crowds and add to the community spirit, like the East Atlanta Beer Fest, where you can sample over 175 varieties of craft beer in a single day over live music and the annual East Atlanta Strut, a festival that proudly celebrates the neighborhood’s endearing quirks. With new developments popping up here and there around East Atlanta, it’s easy to see that the early days when the neighborhood fell on hard times are now behind it.
